21.01.2022 For some, self isolation is a peaceful time to ground, reflect and catch up on things you’ve been wanting to do around your home. My little sis Lulu is growing the most incredible veggie garden and Mum is painting and working on creative new designs. We haven’t seen each other for four weeks now which is VERY hard for us as we’re generally all joined at the hip, but necessary to keep us and our community safe. Thank goodness for virtual contact! In my home it’s just me, my da...ughter Poppy, who is baking brownies (yes!) and our fur babies @the_pawfect_family. We’ve been trying to learn from Lulu and grow some veggies which are miraculously going ok, autumn cleaning and being as active as possible. Although we do have a new addiction...just discovered @nbcparksandrec...guaranteed to make you laugh during this weird and uncertain time. But self isolation isn’t a welcome break for everyone. There are people out there struggling with fear, financial worries, domestic issues and loneliness. PLEASE if you need help reach out to the many charities and groups who can help you with food boxes, emergency housing and phone counselling. Australians are wonderful at helping each other and no matter what you’re going through there is someone out there who can and who wants to help you. Our My Darling Jeannie family sends you all love and sincere gratitude to all our amazing essential workers keeping our crazy world ticking.
