24.01.2022 Well happy NY everyone and hello 2019. Lets hope it is a prosperous year for all. Check out the seeding action on some of our plants So guys if your plant develops these antennas the desert rose is seeding. Now these seeds are flyers. When the pod splits they will fly away with the wind. We monitor them and not long after we see them crack open we put a hair clip around it or a stocking so we can save our seeds. Is anyone elses plants seeding ?

12.01.2022 Tip for today: Heat stress One reason for rose leaves turning yellow is the rose bush is under some sort of stress. A common cause of stress is heat stress. The rose bush turns yellow and drops its foliage in an effort to cool down in the case of heat stress.

08.01.2022 Hello fellow desert rose lovers. It's been a while. I hope everyone is safe and well. I want to thank everyone for supporting our page and our love for desert roses and all plants really. My dear friend Corinna and I started this as a hobby really, then next minute, we had so many desert rose plants. Some we bought. Most we grew from seeds. We bought seeds online. Some from Thailand. We took them to the Mount Gravatt Markets a few times which was successful. It's been a great... adventure. We have some plants left but are not growing to the capacity we were. We have seeds and some plants so if you are local and interested in buying one we welcome you to come and say gidday. If you need any tips on growing feel free to ask away. I encourage you to share any photo's you have of your desert roses and share any tips you may have. " A dried plant is nothing but a sign to plant a new one" See more

01.01.2022 Tip of the day: Scale. These intruders are small round shiny spots that can appear everywhere. To eradicate these an oil base formula like white oil or neem oil can be used. For best results apply in a cool part of the day.
