07.01.2022 As we celebrated the glorious Anzac Spirit, remembering the Australian and New Zealand Corps Soldiers who fought and died for our countries. Over the centuries, mans best friend has assisted our soldiers in wars in the capacity of trackers, scent detectors for mines and explosives, guard dogs, companions and most importantly, to boost the morale of our troops. Dogs were often used to carry messages in battle through the trenches and from point A to Point B. Some messenger d...ogs also performed other communication tasks, such as pulling telephone lines from one location to another. In World War I, the Australian Military forces enlisted German Shepherds to watch over their valuable equipment. In Vietnam, our Australian Task Force had dogs as part of their combat tracking teams; they would search the thick and dense jungle to locate the enemy and were successful in saving the lives of their handlers and team mates. Canberras Australian War Memorial has catalogued numerous stories of our brave war dogs, along with many other records of animal acts of bravery. Please take some time to remember our 4 legged heroes also.

03.01.2022 Our Very Happy customer, Lynelle took some time to send us some pics and a brief outline of how the Pug Pawty went. Hi Angie. Sorry for the delay in the reply I know you were after some photos. Yes both days were a big success. A lot of people took your flyers and would expect you will get a lot of enquiries. On Sat the treat bundles went home with the dogs and I even had a few spare that Ive since shared with others. The beef flavoured ice cream Party Bowls were a big hit ...and some owners were surprised at how enthusiastic their dogs went after them. I didnt have time to get many photos on Saturday but I took a fair few on Sunday with all the pugs in costume. I must say the cake was an even bigger hit . I liked the fact you could slice it up without it falling apart as it was quite dense and you could cut it up like a regular cake. Place it in a dish give it to an owner and away they go. I think with my other pug Freddy when its his birthday in October Ill get another cake. Anyway we had races and prizes so everyone both dogs and humans had a good time both days. See more
