23.01.2022 I have a few spots available in my Tuesday night level 1 puppy obedience classes. Due to the hot days Tuesday nights can be a perfect time to do group training. Let me know asap if you want a spot. First in best dressed.

23.01.2022 5.58am not my finest hour. Storm Chronicles - Day 11 (early o’clock) Storm is enjoying hanging off my pants and swinging like a monkey from one leg to the other.... Storm loves it, I do not. Here is how I coped with it. PS: remember this is 6am, I’ve been awake less than 5 mins, 2 days post surgery, drug addled brain, not my finest work, but you will get the point.

22.01.2022 Due to a cancellation I now have a spot available in my level 1 obedience class tomorrow at 2.30. We will work on obedience commands, advantages of enrichment and some work on impulse control for those excited doggies. Dont miss out pm me asap if you don't want to miss out.

18.01.2022 Great news my doggy friends. My Dream Dog Training is joining forces with Dr Garth Jennens and Amex Behaviour Training. Yes this means I have been busy training and learning more about K9 behaviour. Watch this space for new exciting changes, including my own group park training classes to complement my behaviour consulting.

17.01.2022 As some of you might already know my special little girl has had a very hard week. After making a magical recovery from her cruciate surgery she had developed extreme back pain that was uncontrollable with medication. Screaming out in pain and needing my constant attention we thought her time had come. Then we came to realise that it wasn't injury or tumour but Discospondylitis. An infection in her spine. She is now improving every day and we are extremely pleased that we will have more time with the best dog in the whole wide world.

16.01.2022 This is a time sensitive matter to those who own a puppy or are thinking of getting a puppy. Find out what dogs cannot deal with that will change their behavior (without screaming or hurting them).

14.01.2022 ~ADMIN~ People are sometimes resistant to using food for enrichment or training. So here's what I think. Animals don't have supermarkets. Their food doesn't com...e nicely wrapped or served on a plate. A large part of an animal's life is spent foraging for food. This is the reason your dog will happily search through garbage or pick up food from outdoors, whilst we humans might find it disgusting. Olfaction (smelling) plays a major role in the brain's reward mechanism, and food is obviously needed for survival (making it extremely rewarding to find). This, I believe, makes foraging for food one of the best opportunities we can provide for our dogs to enrich their lives, promote optimism, and fill the behavioural void which many companion dogs have. ~ We don't need to use any extra food, so forget the idea of making dogs fat in the name of enrichment. Scatter some of their food around the house for a treasure hunt; invest in a snuffle mat; place food in a box and then increase the number of boxes so the dog has to find the correct one; throw food into a pile of towels and scrunch them up; the list is limited only by our imagination. ~ Be kind to your dog: let them sniff, let them forage, let them be a dog. ~ Add your foraging ideas/games below See more

05.01.2022 Well done Bear and Socks. Graduated puppy preschool with flying colours. They are big boys but so sweet and gentle when they need to be. Now starting level 1 puppy school.

04.01.2022 Puppy preschool spots available for my Saturday afternoon class. If you have a puppy around 15 weeks of age or younger Don't miss out. As long as they have started their vaccine course they are covered to do puppy preschool. Your puppy will learn socialisation skills along with basic commands and some behavour training. 02.01.2022 Woohoo. I have been given the ok to start group training again. Small groups and we have to follow restrictions but it's going ahead. Let me know asap as classes for puppy preschool and level 1 obedience training are filling fast. Look forward to getting back into it.
