16.01.2022 A wonderful list of artists exhibiting at the 'Wallace Bros Gallery Revisited' exhibition opening 2pm Sat 26 Oct at All Saints Church, Forest St, Bendigo. Estab...lished by Peter Wallace in the mid 1980s, the Wallace Bros Gallery Castlemaine grew on this region's reputation for the arts, and the accelerated migration by artists to the area since the 1970s. It was synonymous with the rise of the Visual Arts in Central Victoria during the 1980s, 90s and into the 21st century. Congratulations to David Wallace and Co for organising this show - just like old times!!! I will also run a slide show of previous Wallace Bros Gallery exhibitions from the History of Castlemaine Arts archives. Open 2pm Sat 26th Oct then 12-6pm Tues-Sun till 10 Nov.
