25.01.2022 Quintana loves her ring sling.... She has been keeping me company while packing online orders and I might have introduced her to essential oils with a bit of the US doterra convention yesterday too! I've had some customers asking if I'm "closed" We are still open and online orders are being processed as normal. Local pick up is available too. 25.01.2022 While I was hanging these out I thought of YOU. Do you know, without a doubt, that you are washing your clothes in a natural powder or liquid? Because I will be the first to put up my hand and say that for too many years I had no real idea. Actually, I thought I was choosing from the supermarket shelves quite well. I chose the ones that said things like 'environmentally friendly' 'sensitive skin' 'hypoallergenic' 'nontoxic' and my old favourite- the sensitive washing powder w...ith almond milk (when you look closely there is no almond milk at all!) I have said it before. I trusted "them" that they wouldn't sell me something that could have harmful toxins, could cause allergies or make my family sick. I gave away all of my power. It's not straight forward-there is a lot of greenwashing that goes into their marketing: "using misleading information to gloss over bad behaviour" "conveying a false impression or providing misleading information" Which means that you need to read between the lines! Once you start to look into the chemical cocktail and read up about possible side effects (Chemical Maze) YOU get to make an informed choice about what is right for your family. Funny enough....since switching to a natural alternative we have not had any problems with allergies, eczema, itchy red skin etc. But I can tell you that after 4 years of using a real natural washing powder- I can smell the fragrance on clothes that have been washed in a chemical cocktail. I can't sleep in sheets that have been washed in fabric softener because my eyes and skin itch and I sneeze all night. I have been going through all of our little newborn clothes from storage (it's been 4 years!) and giving them a wash before putting away into draws. That's when I started to think of YOU. When I started to feel sad that some children are suffering from skin conditions and allergies that could be helped by finding a natural alternative. 23.01.2022 Do you get regular skin checks? Here is your reminder (mine too to be honest) to get a check up- even if you think everything is fine. On the weekend Zeb complained about a dry spot of skin on his nose, wanted to know if I had any moisturiser for him to use....... Alarm bells!! Over the last few years I have had 5 customers ask me this same thing. Every one turned out to be a sun spot. Zeb got a check up today and had 3 spots that were a concern on his face. The doctor told him it would take a couple weeks to heal these marks. I will give him the same products/regime I gave to my beautiful customers and I'd bet those marks will be gone much quicker than the Dr expects He was also advised by Dr to wear sun cream daily on his face. I'm like... "umm your wife makes a natural sun cream. You have access to it right here at home. Oh and also... I told you so" So I'll be booking in for my check up ASAP. Also, Zeb was watching TV when I surprised him with a photo... He's not as scared ashe looks. Promise! This is the sun cream I sell, handmade by me and all our girls ever wear. 18.01.2022 New Cream Cleansers uploaded today If you have been kicking around here for a few years then these might even ring a bell for you. Our rose and charcoal cream cleansers have always been super popular with our customers. So where did they go?... If you remember using these cleansers you will remember they were in a pump bottle. That last bit that got stuck in the bottle and wouldn't pump out. Yep. It annoyed me too. I have been hunting for the perfect packaging for it of course! It has been trialed by a few of our close customers and the feedback has been amazing! It removes make up easily, deep cleanses pores and feels so nourishing on your skin. It is very concentrated (no fillers. no water. no nasties) so you only use the smallest amount each wash. Start with around 1/4 of the size you would normally use of store bought face wash. Formulated on a base of unrefined shea butter, this is a must try product! Which is why I have made sure there are FREE samples for all online orders this week. 14.01.2022 How to... Face mask steps Zeb took the girls to school today so I had time for a morning face mask, and to snap a few pictures of the process. Next time I'd best get the mixing of the mask too. I used our new Mermaid botanical mask with the Balance liquid activation.... Wait 10 minutes till mask just goes hard. Wash it off with warm water. Pat dry and spray botanical mist over dace. I used the Bulgarian Rose today (and most days if I'm honest) 4 drops of face oil spreads easily over dewy face from botanical mist. And I'm ready for the day! Last few orders to make and restocking shelves of bath goodness today. * If I was heading out I might need dome daily defence cream too... But today I'm feeling like the oil is enough. Tell me... Are you a face mask in the morning girl? I'm usually only getting time at night, but I feel so fresh today!

12.01.2022 Still handmade with love 5 batches of bath bombs made today, all still mixed by me, by hand. It feels right creating them by feel, not in a machine. 03.01.2022 My poor skin is tight and dry!! It was a rush out the door this morning and I forgot to put on my daily defence moisturiser. I washed my face with the foaming hand wash that was at the sink, because you know... Hurry! Then rose botanical mist and nourish face oil.... During 3/4 of the year that is enough for my skin. But with the cool air and the wind now- my skin needs more. I've just got home now and sprayed the rose botanical mist again to hydrate and allow the easy spread of daily defence Aahh! Now it's happy! How is your skin going? Looking forward to spring season next week?
01.01.2022 Tummy Tamer Boy was I grateful for this oil blend last night! Day 3. The milk comes in and everything is a bit unsettled. I could tell something was upsetting Bubs belly- but what!?... Was it something I ate? Milk coming too fast? Just an adjustment to the change? I rolled the baby tummy tamer on and she settled within a few minutes. At 2am...that's something to be really grateful for. The baby dilution is safe to use from newborn and I have for all my kids. I also blend it appropriately for children and adults.
