23.01.2022 This photo was taken in Sydney near Watson's Bay. Until so recently so much of our coastline was forested. We've made way for concrete and tall buildings ...but have we got the balance all wrong ? Can we address climate change through growing #ForestsForTheFuture? What do we need to do? What do scientists say? And what are individuals communities doing? In Sydney, Fin and I have been enjoying some time off from posting and sharing our experience on the socials and recoverin...g. We experienced culture shock after walking through the bush for so long and I (Holly) felt quite melancholic. Now we have adjusted to not walking and talking to strangers all day, we need to get on with the nitty gritty computer work. Now is our time to knuckle down and get storytelling, recording and editing. We are making #inwiththewoods to tell you about climate solutions, what is happening with Australian forestry and what communities actually think about these issues. We've been surprised. Gobsmacked actually - by our experience adventuring and meeting incredible strangers. Stay tuned!

08.01.2022 It's officially our last day of walking! We will reach Sydney harbour bridge today. It is 40km away, making this is our longest day yet! Getting a sneaky early bird coffee, because we got out the door slightly earlier than normal. Yeah, quitting coffee didn't go so well.
