24.01.2022 Attention all of our wonderful My First Gym Community This morning the QLD Government announced that the greater Brisbane area will commence a 3 day lockdown from 6pm tonight until 6pm Monday the 11th of January. While we are always devastated to have to cancel classes , MyFirstGym has always committed to following the guidance of health officials and will be complying with the Government directive. Please note that this will only affect our Hawthorne, Northlakes, Redbank... Plains, Enoggera and Salisbury locations. All other national locations will remain open. All classes in the affected locations will resume as normal on Tuesday morning, unless directed otherwise by the QLD Government. Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing our members back in the club from Tuesday.

23.01.2022 To our valued members, Last night the NSW Government issued a NSW Public Health Alert for the Northern Beaches area following a COVID-19 outbreak. In order to assist control of the outbreak, they have asked all Northern Beaches residents to stay home and refrain from all non-essential activities until Monday 21st of December. While MyFirstGym is a believer in the healing effects of physical exercise, we are also committed to following all Government advice and doing our p...art to support the community in its battle against COVID-19. For that reason, our MyFirstGym Frenchs Forest location will be temporarily ceasing its services until from 18 December 20 December inclusive. Pending any further advice from the NSW Government, MyFirstGym Frenchs Forest will be resuming all normal services on Monday the 21st of December. This temporary pause in operations will not affect any other MyFirstGym location. It is important to note that there have been no known cases associated with MyFirstGym and the club has a stringent COVID Safe plan in place. MyFirstGym has, and will always continue to operate with the highest cleaning and hygiene standards to ensure the safety of its members. We have full confidence in the NSW Government to bring this situation under control quickly so that we can resume operations and continue inspiring movement in our members. See more

03.01.2022 Great News! Our Brisbane Clubs are reopening tomorrow! We are super excited to have all of our Hawthorne, Enoggera, Salisbury, Redbank Plains and Northlakes members back in the clubs tomorrow. Please remember that the QLD Government has mandated masks over the next 10 days for indoor venues including gyms in the greater Brisbane area. So parents will need to bring along their masks while they watch their children complete the class. Please note that kids under 12 will no...t need to wear masks. We also want to remind all members that MyFirstGym is fully Covid Safe and has a stringent Covid-Safe plan in place. As part of the plan we are: - Checking in all members on arrival (either via QR codes or paper sign in sheets) - Ensuring hand sanitiser stations are located in multiple locations around the club - Social distancing in the parents lounge - Ensuring class sizes do not exceed 1 child per 4 square meters - Thoroughly cleaning all equipment after each class - Ensuring all staff have not visited any known hot spots in the last 14 days - Ensuring staff wear masks while not coaching Please ensure that before returning to the Brisbane clubs that you check the Government list of known contact tracing locations (https://www.qld.gov.au//cor/current-status/contact-tracing).
