Body weight training is one of the most effective ways to see results mainly because they involve a lot of compound movements which means multiple muscles & joints move simultaneously. This increases your heart rate & helps provide cardiovascular benefits. Body weight training helps to improve strength, endurance, balance & overall fitness & can keep you burning calories for hours after you’ve finished training. ... 18.01.2022 WHAT ARE MACROS? Macros (short for Macronutrients) are the essential nutrients our body needs to function & run optimally. Your macros are & help with:... PROTEIN - muscle repair & growth CARBS - providing a main source of energy FATS - brain function & cell & hormone production. All providing us with a certain amount of energy aka calories. This photo is a quick & easy example of getting all macros in one meal. Eggs on toast with avocado 1PROTEIN - eggs 2CARBS - bread 3FATS - avocado Try & aim for a BALANCED food routine getting in a variety of whole grains, lean meats, legumes, healthy fats ie. olive oils & nuts, fruits & as many vegetables as you can.

This is the first picture to post on my page of myself which I thought I should do since I am the trainer behind MYFIT Training although I still prefer to mainly post about my wonderful clients & what I can do & provide for them I just wanted to put out there how impressed I am of each & every one them for their dedication & personal achievements! I also love how they’ll sometimes come down & say hi & even chill out with us even if they aren’t... able train that day Keep doing what your doing guys, we’re only just getting started Oh & I nearly forgot to introduce that little creature on my shoulder named Skittlez

17.01.2022 Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is the soreness you feel in your muscles after a workout, typically occurring within 12-72 hours after. The soreness comes from using your muscles in ways they’re not use to, causing micro-tears in the muscle fibres, which in turn grow back stronger at rest. Also remember that you won’t feel sore after EVERY workout & that ISN’T a bad thing, it just means that your body is adapting to the training/exercises you’re doing and your fitness & ...recovery is improving! Things that can help reduce DOMS: WARM UP - It’s extremely important to warm up before a workout to help increase heart rate & blood flow, to warm up muscles & joints & most importantly to prevent injury. SLEEP - when asleep your body & brain is at rest which means your general energy consumption is lowered & more energy can be used to restore your body. HYDRATE - Before, during & after workouts! When exercising we can lose a lot of fluids through sweating so it’s important to replace what has been lost. Drinking water also flushes toxins out as well as help transport nutrients to cells. NUTRITION - Consuming a variety of fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean meats & legumes will help your recovery MASSIVELY. Protein is your number one macro for muscle gain & recovery but don’t forget your carbs & fats too for energy & cell function. MAGNESIUM - Is essential for optimal muscle function also helps to relieve soreness, tightness & cramping. Magnesium can be taken anytime of the day however I prefer to take it at night before bed! STRETCH/FOAM ROLL - Stretching &/or foam rolling can help release tension in the muscles & increase blood flow. The best time to stretch is at the end of your workouts when your body is nice & warm & has the most elasticity. Stretching - Hold each stretch approx 30 secs Foam rolling - 1-5 mins per muscle group

13.01.2022 This amazing lady didn’t think she had made much progress until I showed her these! These are Danica’s progress photos from training over the past 6-7 weeks, only training 2-3 times a week for half an hour (sometimes less ) & made a few small changes in food habits. Her posture has even improved & not to mention she gave birth to her first child, Caidan, only 5 months ago! Can’t wait to see what she can achieve in the next 4 weeks!

06.01.2022 What you may not know is that It’s very common to put on weight in the first few weeks or months when beginning a strenuous training regime. When your muscle are put under stress this causes micro-tears to the muscle fibres (which is what is supposed to happen in order to gain strength & muscle once repaired) your body will go through a few changes which can include water retention due to the inflammation on your muscles & also store more glycogen to help you with your increa...sed energy demands. Do not worry, this is normal & will decrease as your body adapts & becomes more efficient to the type of training (usually around 8-12 weeks) & your body will need less water retention & glycogen storage. If this sounds like you, the best thing to do is to not get disheartened & make sure you keep on training! Give yourself time to recover & adapt. Remember CONSISTENCY IS KEY!
