Flying Fish was converted into a research vessel for a team of 20 marine scientists and support crew for a 21-day expedition from Port Douglas up to the very tip of Australia last month to assess the health of the Great Barrier Reef and search for the super corals. A highlight of the expedition was when we were joined by sea turtle researcher, Dr. Ian Bell for a few days. We helped Ian to satellite tag a nesting sea turtle so we can watch her progress over the next few years. Watch a short clip here. You can also follow the journey via Great Barrier Reef Legacy
