24.01.2022 What's Hot? Lettuce, Eschallots and Eggplant are probably the best value vegetable products and Bananas remain the best value fruit at the moment. Overall, prices are starting to stabilise and where they have been excessively high in recent times they seem to be on the way back down. We continue to see new season stonefruit in increasing quantity each week. Best buying here are Mangoes, Nectarines and Peaches. Prices are still very firm but should start to ease. Appearance an...d eating quality is excellent. What's Not? Tomatoes and some Capsicum lines out of North Queensland are still quite short but supply is increasing which is causing prices to ease gradually. However, despite the shortages product quality is generally still very good on all products. Prices have increased slightly on some potato lines too but this should not have a huge effect overall.

13.01.2022 What's Hot? Pretty much everything is good value and excellent quality at the moment. Bananas seem to have hit a low point and probably won't drop much more. The same applies to cauliflower, iceberg lettuce and beans. We continue to see new season stonefruit in increasing quantity each week. Prices are still very firm but should start to ease over the next few weeks. Appearance and eating quality is excellent though so if you can bear the price it's worth a shot! What's Not? We are still experiencing significant shortages with Tomatoes and some Capsicum lines out of North Queensland. However, despite the shortages product quality is generally still quite good on all products including Capsicum which has suffered significantly over the last two weeks.
