18.01.2022 This is pretty cool! Literally

15.01.2022 Polar bears are one of the cutest and most recognisable animals on earth. We’d all know a polar bear if we saw one. But did you know polar bears are actually classified as marine mammals because they spend most of their time on the sea ice of the arctic ocean. Polar bears can swim for days on end and can reach speeds of close to 10 km per hour in the water. Their fur appears white because it reflects visible light but underneath the fur their skin is jet black. Sadly these cuties are known to be ingesting plastic found in the arctic as they search for food in a declining habitat. We can all take small steps to reduce the impact of single use plastics on our environment Come follow us @mygreenfootprint and follow our journey and check out www.mygreenfootprint.com.au

02.01.2022 Happy World Oceans Day The water inspires us and it intimidates us. It creates peace and awe at the same time. Science shows that being near the ocean triggers responses in the part of the brain that processes memories and Scientists also agree that there’s oxygen from ocean plants in every breath we take. Makes sense as to why we feel so connected to the ocean. This is why it’s so important to reduce our environmental impact and keep our oceans clean when they play such an intricate part in our lives and marine lives
