We are so blessed to have our in-house styling guru Renee from Boutique Yellow weaving her magic for our clients. Renee has literally lived, breathed and slept at her 'office' (This time it was Phillip Island Waterfront House) coming up with the new updates. Working with someone who loves her work is a joy. The modern kitchen and spacious living area was spectacular for our group but the luxury of retiring to my own bedroom space was special and somewhat unique for holiday rental homes. 04.01.2022 I think this is all too common in our busy world. Recently a client told me their kids HATE coming to their holiday home and nag to go home! What? I would have loved to have a holiday home as a kid? They told me they come down and unpack, clean, work, pack, etc. I've had the privilege to visit many families and love helping them convert their holiday home into a profitable business, but this is not the result anyone wants. It made me think of people in their jobs who don't find any joy. If you have no joy you won't perform to your best. Find your family's joy and make sure you find the right balance. This is a photo of my boy before a hard days work on our holiday home. My kids are all hard workers and love coming down to our holiday house. We couldn't do it without them!
