It's largely determined by our size, muscle mass, but can also vary day-to-day depending on our diet, climate, workload and activity. There is really no magic number, but as a general rule, men need about 10 cups of fluids every day and women need about 8 cups. Most importantly, you should drink water consistently throughout the day, everyday.
