It’s a versatile exercise that’s easy to regress or progress and adjust depending on the goal/intent. The main cues I stick to when initially teaching bridges:... - Feet at least hip-width apart - Squeeze bum and lift hips to the roof - Don’t push solely from your toes Bridges are an exercise I like to progress early. This can include: - Holding your hips up for 3 seconds before lowering it down - Hands across chest (reduces support)
