03.01.2022 Special Event Styling On Friday, I had the opportunity to style the gorgeous Jessica Rouse from AM981 2NM who was the Host of the Singleton Business Excellence Awards 2020. I started out with a concept in mind and sent Jess a copy of her Mood Board. Needless to say - she was a little bit unsure at first...but as we began chatting I sensed that underneath her busy and professional exterior was a young vivacious lady who wanted to shine and have some fun! ... Jess is blessed with the most glorious waist length hair which she prefers to wear out for events so with that in mind, I opted to channel another hair goddess, Kate Beckinsale, with the help from the very talented Di from SALON FRANC. Di created a high, effortless ponytail that highlighted the stunning design of this cut-out style cocktail dress from Misha. The dress helped to showcase Jess's toned upper-back and flawless legs. A simple pair of drop earnings and nude heels completed her look. I applied a subtle rose-coloured smokey eye using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam palette while Jess popped on a pair of strip lashes, a pretty lip and her favourite Lancome fragrance. It wasn't a look that she had previously gone for but as you can tell, Jess was delighted with the result!
