05.01.2022 Before Yoga... After Yoga... I have really enjoyed & been challenged, by this last 6 weeks, moving to a new area of QLD, exploring, setting up lyf for @patterns_in_health & I & the fur-kids And finding my inner student again. ... The first week I was here I picked a class & studio at random, driving 30mins from my (then) temporary accom & finding out on arrival what I thought was Vinyasa, was actually Ashtanga primary series (for rebels), slightly straying, just a touch from the rigidity of the traditional series. And im just loving this Saturday routine!! Ashtanga always challenges me, bringing me back to the roots of yoga & my vulnerabilities. Feeling the shoulders & biceps burn through all the chataranga dandasanas, wobbles & limitations in balances & jump throughs... On my sixth week today, I saw some growth- yay! in my practice.
