18.01.2022 Brilliant women supporting brilliant women, motivation to move that writers block! Leaving a legacy that amplifies and celebrates the stories of women in all its diversity, McLean said. Stories that offer a more complete national narrative will be an enduring gift to Australian women writers and new generations of readers. McLean’s $1 million donation is a part of the Stella Forever Fund’s goal to secure a total of $3 million in prize money by April 2022, when the next Stella award winner will be announced.#mykindco #womensupportingwomen #creativelife #writerslife #creativefunding #artsfunding

30.12.2021 A long awaited arts precinct at the Kingston Foreshore to be built by 2023 has been delayed, after high profile developer Geocon was dropped by ACT Government. With the arts in desperate need of support now, the project has unfortunately been further pushed to 2025. "There are collaborations between all of us as (art) organisations, that are already underway. It's almost as though the precinct is already here, we just need to get it built" #supportheartsnow #creativecommunity #creativeeconomy #creativespace #creativecollaboration #mykindco

24.12.2021 "When I was 15, the Taliban tried to kill me for speaking out about my right to go to school. I cannot help but be grateful for my life now. After graduating from college last year and starting to carve out my own career path, I cannot imagine losing it all going back to a life defined for me by men with guns." #womensupportingwomen #sisterhood #peacenotwar https://www.nytimes.com//malala-afghanistan-taliban-women.

12.11.2021 Deputy Lord Mayor Jess Scully has created this extremely important petition to support workers including those in the creative industries and freelance economy greatly effected by this lock-down. I am sure many of us are silently falling through these cracks. Just as creatives are getting back on their feet they are again left out in the cold if not earning $75000 or more! Please share and sign the petition now. The deadline is Thursday. https://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au//Pages/ePetition-details

01.11.2021 'Creative producers are Australia’s most accomplished project managers. They’re highly adept at juggling multiple inputs to realise impossible scenarios within very limited budgets. Leave it to a creative producer, and we’d soon have the nation fully vaccinated within plenty of time to pack our backs for Meredith Music Festival.'.... Let's share with the government what they can do to support the creative industries and the arts. A survey closes Wednesday June 30th have your voice heard.
