24.01.2022 Did you know that your clients face mask can cause poor lash retention? We all know that excessive moisture can speed up the drying time of your adhesives, resulting in a poor bond and poor retention. Gaps at the top of your client’s face mask can cause moisture from the breath to be directed toward the lashes.... But please don’t ditch the mask! It’s now more important than ever to be taking every precaution to keep you and your clients safe. Instead you can simply use some micropore tape or your eye pads to seal any gaps at the top of the mask and re-direct moisture away from the lashes. Happy (& Safe) Lashing! See more

23.01.2022 No perfect lashes without the perfect adhesive! Make sure to take care of your little bottles - they are the key to success! Store your adhesives upright, in an airtight container or in the ziplock pack provided. Never store them in direct sunlight or where they’ll be exposed to high temperatures. During appointments use the red nozzle pin provided instead of the cap.... Always wipe down the nozzle with an adhesive wipe or lint free material before replacing the cap. Don’t store adhesives in the fridge/freezer or anywhere else they could be exposed to moisture once opened. The culprit is most likely low humidity which can cause your adhesive to cure too slowly. Here are a few quick tips that can help... Invest in a humidifier - This will help add moisture to the air and bring your humidity up to the ideal range for your adhesive (Best measured with a Hygrometer)... Use a Primer - A primer will remove any excess oils or debris from the natural lash and help achieve a better grip for the extensions Use a Nano-Mister - A Nano mister speeds up the curing process and helps eliminate clumping Switch to glue with a faster curing time - If you’re unable to make the necessary changes in your environment or if they’re still not helping then it may be best to switch to a faster drying adhesive.
