25.01.2022 Shannon has been at it since 5am this morning...good things take time and there’s no rushing when you want a flavourful fully fermented sourdough.

24.01.2022 Deliveries are out the door! Stay cool and happy weekend everyone.

23.01.2022 If you have a loaf of bread that is a few days old, it may not be fresh enough for sandwich’s but still good to toast. Try little bit of water on the bread slice before toasting which will bring it back to life. If it’s a whole loaf, wet the entire loaf (submerge for a few minutes) and then put in the oven, it will really revive the bread and is a bit like having a freshly baked loaf but will only be good for a couple of hours. If you feel like a decadent treat then try frying your bread slices in olive oil, you’ll make the best bruschetta you’ve ever had!

22.01.2022 We do love the classic vienna shape but sometimes a tin loaf makes the perfect sandwich even if the bread is sliced a bit wonky!

For those who were contacted thanks for your supportive and caring messages. In stressful trying moments like these your positivity and compassion means so much. We really appreciate it. Shannon

05.01.2022 With the weather warming up we get asked what is the best way to store our bread. Because our bread contains no preservatives, oil, sugar, low salt and is moist it’s susceptible to mould so storing it in a breathable cloth bag works well but can stale after a few days. If you add a little water to your slice of bread and toast it slightly it will bring it back to life. Storing it in cellophane bags also works well but may mould quicker depending on the temperature in your kit...chen. You can always slice half your bread and freeze it if you don’t think you’ll get through it although you can’t beat fresh. It does depend on the temperature in your kitchen, a cool dark spot is recommended but not too cold. If you have any tips on how you store your bread we would love to hear them! How do you store your bread? See more
