25.01.2022 Thank you Clare Jobson for the changes to our constitution enabling us to broaden our scope as a small charity to help people beyond Zambia. Clare has always supported the needy probono and I wish her well with her practice. If you are needing legal help give her a call in Queensland or South Australia. She will care about your issues and she is trustworthy and ethical. You won’t find anyone better for an honest opinion and job well done.

24.01.2022 Happy to announce the last auction payment received now and we raised the amazing sum of $2,493 at the Christmas in July with a Touch of Jazz luncheon held at J...armers Kitchen last Friday July 17 So far we have deposited 2 donations of $100 and $150 plus the Baubles competition $99 and the Christmas boxes $200 into our #maizeaid Facebook site - $549. The balance of $1,944 remains to be deposited today. Thanks to all who supported the lunch - sponsors, prize donors, volunteers and guests. Special thanks to Sue Redman, Hamish Mill, Les Millar, Dr Joseph Masika, Rosemary Baxter, Sue Pearce, Carolyn Underwood. And Chris Jarmer the food and service was first class. From my point of view a good result in tough times with 50 guests allowing social distancing in a venue that fits double the number. See more

13.01.2022 A big thanks to a woman with a big heart for the underprivileged - Clare Jobson - from CJ Legal (Queensland and South Australia) for sponsoring changes to our charity’s Constitution. Without volunteers we would not be able to do our important work in Africa. A great woman. Her contact details are below. If you need legal help give her a call.

11.01.2022 Thanks girls and Sue Redman for $75 raised from the raffle. So thankful to you all. Xxxx

09.01.2022 Dear supporters. I am delighted to let you know Richard and I drove to the premises of the United Church of Zambia today and we can verify that the ambulance donated by Dr Cathy Love and our container full of the RAH beds and hospital supplies donated by Rotary and yourselves in excess of the value of $250,000 AUD have arrived safely. It’s amazing. The ship did not sink. Nor did pirates attack which is not uncommon. We have not needed to claim on insurance. All is well. F...rom my part I can take a breath of fresh air and thank you all for your contributions and prayers for this risky venture. Remember our container travelled through the Port of Beira after a cyclone with thousands of lives lost. This was no easy exercise and our cargo was then driven on a semi trailer from Mozambique to Zambia. Our cargo was at risk on the wharf of USD $300 per day and we are amateurs Never done this before!!! We were at huge risk as there was a delay on the Zambian side with clearance agents and many sleepless nights for me. Zambia is landlocked so very difficult destination and advice given by our clearance agents in Adelaide was insufficient on the Zambian side. Believe it or not we managed to get through without any additional fees. So today is a day of celebration and thankfulness #dignityzambia #unitedchurchofzambia #overseasaid #zambiachildbirth See more

03.01.2022 Dear Dignity Zambia supporters the Arthur Wina Memorial Hospital recently invested in a terrazzo floor. Here are some photos. It looks very beautiful. I understand it was a massive job moving everything out and then back in. Looking magnificent.
