19.01.2022 My belated birth announcement. Ive been avoiding doing this because my selfish thoughts tell me that this isnt how its meant to be but I know I have received so many messages from my lovely community asking about the arrival of my baby, his name is Jacob. The usual picture is of a healthy baby in a cute wrap with some sort of plaque that says im here but unfortunately thats not what I have to share with you. Instead I have been living in a nightmare the last 14 days since... I delivered my baby boy. Nobody goes through 9 months of pregnancy and receives the all clear from sonnographers during scans expecting to give birth to a baby that isnt healthy. This has been my life sleeping in the nicus of Brisbanes hospitals watching monitor screens to make sure hes breathing. I havent even seen his face properly yet. A beautiful nicu nurse suggested she take at least one photo for me even though I dont want to remember this time in my life so here it is. Im sorry I havent answered many of your beautiful messages checking in to see if everthing is ok but now you know its becauae I havent been able to bring myself to make it extra real by telling you all. It all started the minute he was born and he couldnt breathe and its gone downhill from there. In a few days hell be having open heart surgery to correct his cardiac issues but theyre predicting hell need 3 surgeries. All the staff at the hospital have tried to prepare us for what were about to go through but I dont think anyone can truly prepare us for those moments well be waiting to hear hes made it through the surgery safely. I havent even mentioned the guilt I feel for our four other children that Ive been neglecting whilst being in hospital. But in these hard times which child do I choose? Who needs me more? My heart is in 5 different places all day long I wish cloning was available just for these moments. Its a constant battle in my mind. Its just my husband and I trying to do it all by oursleves and its beyond exhausting. I think Ive slept 12 hours over the last 2 weeks. Hopefully now that Ive let you in on some of what weve been going through the last 2 weeks maybe you can forgive me for not checking in on messages and emails. I will get back into it eventually I just need to know hes going to be ok. I appreciate all your patience with me.

19.01.2022 I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your well wishes, messages of kindness, messages to check how weve been, offerings of kindness to help in any way with groceries and washing , meals etc. I want to thank you for your prayers, your patience & understanding and generosity. Sometimes when times were dark I would read your words and they brought so much comfort. This has been for me personally the hardest most testing time Ive ever had to go through. For ...a while that hospital room was all we knew. Our family was split up and we did our best in a bad situation. The world seemed to have changed whilst we were in there and a pandemic took over so I hope everyone is staying safe in this time of isolation. Obviously Im currently not operating however have full intention to open my doors again when allowed. I appreciate all your support you provide during this time whether its skincare, future appts etc as every bit is counting to being able to sustain the business and reopen in the future. Xxoo

17.01.2022 I have been talking about ab muscle separation quite a bit lately and its because it accounts for the pouch we might carry around and it use only be rectified by surgery if it was severe however there are exercises you can do for mild cases and now there is Teslasculpting HIFEM. It most commonly happens as we have children however there are many contributing factors. * please no scrutiny. 12.01.2022 My Last B & A and what an amazing one. There are multiple treatments available for those pesky forhead furrows. 05.01.2022 Heartbroken I grew up in two of the most currently affected areas by the NSW bushfires. Nowra and Blue Mountains (or now known as #LostMountains) the devastation and unfathomable ferocity of the the destruction of these fires has been heartbreaking. I wish I could afford more but what I have been able to pledge is 10% of this weeks and next weeks revenue to be donated to the NSWRFS and Redcross. I know that these fires can be on our very own doorsteps tomorrow and I cant ...imagine being stranded with no food , clothing or a roof over my 4 children and how desperate and in need we would feel much like these poor familes that have had to flee for their lives.
