18.01.2022 GREAT NEWS MARKETS ARE OPENING UP AGAIN..... I have a market stall in the rural area of Darwin. Our Saturday market completely closed due to Covid-19 for a couple of months. We re-opened on Saturday 16th May with strict social distancing rules in place. What a great success, for the past 2 weeks, our little rural market has been very busy, just like our usual dry season trade even though there aren't any tourists in town. Over the past 2 weeks, we've found we have a lot of new faces visiting our market, the locals have travelled far and wide. Danielle

11.01.2022 GOOD NEWS FOR STALL HOLDERS IN NSW Effective 14th February 2018, we at MY MARKET INSURANCE are pleased to advise that our Stallholder premiums have reduced slightly for all NSW Market Stallholders. This reduction is due to the NSW Government deleting Stamp Duty in NSW, providing your business turnover is less than $2,000,000.00 per year. ... So typically our Annual Policy with a cover of $10 million public and $10 million product liability insurance is now down to $142, a saving of $7.00.
