25.01.2022 One of the best parts of winter is when locals go out and explore their backyard. Today was so much fun taking some wonderful local cellar door staff around to the places we all recommend. If you're in South Australia get out there and enjoy this amazing state! If you're not in South Australia, wait until we let you in then come on!

21.01.2022 Another absolutely beautiful wine from Geddes Wines. This variety is a bit unique and Tim and Amanda are quite the special couple making these gorgeous wines. A great combination all around. Check em out the next time you're around Blewitt Springs

15.01.2022 It was wonderful being back out at the McLaren Vale Grape Wine and Tourism events that we hold monthly. This week we met at Wirra Wirra Wines to discuss vine health and biosecurity of the vineyards and our region in general. The lively discussion reinforced our beliefs that the region has done very well in our signage and making tourists aware of biosecurity risks but we can always improve. ... Please make sure not to wander amongst the vineyards when visiting cellar doors and if you want that perfect Instagram backdrop then ask the staff where is the best place. They know the properties better than anyone.

14.01.2022 Last Friday I ticked off another unique cellar door in McLaren Vale and one of my favourite experiences around so far. Aphelion Wine cellar door is located in Rob and Louise's house in Willunga and is a wonderfully comfortable, inviting and interesting tasting. They started the label in 2014 with 1 tonne of fruit but have quickly ramped up their production and awards startee flowing their way. ... With a large range including two Chenin Blanc, each of their wines has a unique story and is very well made. A little treat to the tasting is the beautiful glasses they have which are available for purchase. Do yourself a favour and book in through their website when you get a chance and go visit. I'm willing to bet you won't be disappointed.

08.01.2022 New Wine Alert Just in time for spring Primo Estate has released their first rosè and it definitely lives up to their high standard. Using the well known Sangiovese grape, it has a beautiful floral nose and start yet finishes with mouth watering savouriness that leaves you wanting more. ... I have no doubt a few bottles will be had on the deck in the sun this spring and summer. Now that some warmth is here get out there and see what this great region has to offer!!

03.01.2022 Another wonderful hidden gem in McLaren Vale. I had a wonderful catch up with a friend at Flower cellar door today. Even on a cold and cloudy day, it was warm and comfortable and a very unique setting. Well worth checking out for a tea, coffee, some nibbles or gorgeous flowers
