24.01.2022 BREAKING: An incredible turnaround in only a few hours has avoided what was almost certainly the worst week in history for the ASX200. This compelling graph from this mornings live trading shows the rapid extent that half a TRILLION dollars was wiped off the ASX since it reached an all time high on February 20 - just 3weeks ago. The Federal Government is set to announce a stimulus package tonight in an attempt to address the current economic state. Small business's and those recieving Government benefits (including Pensioners) are expected to recieve financial payments and incentives.

20.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS: With two thirds of the season now played, unconfirmed sources are advising that the English Premier League is under increasing pressure to merge the 19 clubs chasing runaway league leaders Liverpool. In what would be an extraordinary move to boost TV ratings, the Premier League is looking to address the ‘title race’ being well and truly over in record time. Broadcasters are concerned that Liverpool’s total dominance has diminished the overall ‘entertainment’ va...lue of the league although they are reporting one unexpected positive trend. It is thought that whilst supporters of most EPL clubs have tuned out from watching their own team, many are now seeking their entertainment elsewhere by tuning in to watch Manchester United, in what has become affectionately known as the weekly ‘90-minute comedy roadshow’. Our unconfirmed sources have provided us with what is believed to be the draft of a revised 2020 EPL table (below) should the merger be implemented before the next round of matches. Europe’s biggest and most successful clubs are also being touted to team up with some struggling EPL teams in what is sure to please supporters of West Ham, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. Burnley were originally thought to be delighted in being paired with AC Milan until quickly realising the once great Italian club are currently dubbed the ‘United of Italy’. To appease Sean Dyche’s men, the EPL are thought to have ‘thrown-in’ the lowly Newcastle Jets from the Australian A-League in a unique footballing ‘menage a trois’ of mediocrity. The most notable potential local pairing includes Chelsea and Arsenal, who despite their points totals being combined, still find themselves languishing in the bottom half of the new table. Manchester United are thought to be the only club opposing a merger with another club. Well, this is what their fans will say, but our unconfirmed sources tell us that no amount of money from the Premier League will persuade any club to be paired with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team. Fears are that Old Trafford is the epicentre of the footballing equivalent of the Coronavirus, a highly infectious disease that begins by severely impairing the decision-making ability of the owners and ‘boardroom’ of an organisation. Experts are pointing to the calamitous recruitment policy of several consecutive inept Managers combined with signing an exorbitantly expensive squad full of excessively paid flops as evidence. United will instead have their points tally doubled and will be permitted to field 20 outfield players and 2 goalkeepers each match for the remainder of the season. All other clubs are expected to fully support this proposal and view this as a fair and reasonable decision to ‘level the playing field’.
