We support a shift in focus onto more innovative ways to keep people and businesses moving. 17.01.2022 "My Aussie Road trip spot is Sussex Inlet NSW, with crystal clear waterways & beaches, wildlife like kangaroos in the local streets, great fishing, & kayaking in the canals, there are plenty of fun things to do for all ages. We regularly visit, & with the recent fires need to help the local businesses, so have been doing more weekend trips, being only a 2 1/2 hour drive from our home in Campbelltown it’s an easy trip away." 15.01.2022 Known for its beautiful scenery, historic charm, dining and local produce, Mudgee is now home to NRMA EV Fast Charger #36: mynr.ma/ev-mudgee Located at Club Mudgee, 99 Mortimer St, Mudgee, the charger is in close proximity to cafes, restaurants and a major shopping centre. Only five minutes’ walk to Mudgee Town Hall and Robertson Park. Driving from Sydney, Mudgee is a pleasant trip through the Blue Mountains before turning right after Lithgow onto the Castlereagh Highway. Thi...s part of the trip is particularly nice, passing through some lovely little towns past Lake Windamere. Seeing a good drop of water again in this lake is heart warming too.

03.01.2022 It has been 20 years since Philip MacDonnell moved to the country and fulfilled his love of the outdoors by launching Bay and Beyond Sea Kayak Tours with his wife Carolyn. The family-run tour and rental company in South Durras, on the NSW South Coast, a popular destination for international visitors and tourists alike, came extremely close to losing everything in November last year as bushfires edged closer to town. Smoke filled air, helicopters, planes, news reporters and ne...ighbours helping neighbours became the new reality. Just as tourists began to slowly return in late December with roads cleared and power restored to the town again, nearby fires roared down the mountains and wreaked havoc on Batemans Bay and other coastal communities. Post bushfires, the international campaign to bring tourists back to Australia started to show promise for the business, however the pandemic soon halted tourism again and brought uncertainty for the future for Phillip and Carolyn.
