Myaree is still available at Christmas and New Year (although Metta is booked and is currently re-available from 4th January). 01.01.2022 This year is the 18th international lighthouse & lightship weekend. Point Perpendicular lighthouse will be operating for three nights, Friday the 16th, Saturda...y the 17th & Sunday 18th of August. Weather permitting guided tours of the tower will be conducted between 11.00am and 4.00pm, no entry to the tower after 4.30pm or in adverse or wet weather. The Point Perpendicular lighthouse was first lit in 1899 and operated until it was demanned and replaced by a steel tower and solar beacon in 1994. See more
