24.01.2022 We are very excited to announce that there will be a raffle with your chance to win a double pass to the Forth Valley Blues Festival 2020. To win all you need to do is purchase a raffle ticket on the night of our Myoozik show on the 22nd February at the Kindred Hall. Myoozik was asked to assemble a fabulous line up of Tasmanian bands playing their own original music on the Friday night at the FVBF on 20th March. Make sure you come along and support the festival with many more great bands on the Saturday night!

Among the mix are The Surreal Estate Agents - fronted by Zac Henderson, this funk rock outfit have been satisfying audiences with their energetic and playful performances since 2014 and are set to put on a good show for us on Friday, 1 November!

18.01.2022 Hi everyone! I know this group is mostly filled with musicians, but on the off chance of some leads I am putting the call out! Unfortunately, after a series of ...unrelated and unfortunate events, Meraki will no longer have ANY original band spots to offer as of the end of January! This is due to Irish Murphys moving their Thursdays to solo songwriters (which is still great, keeping that original music alive!!), and the sad news that the Republic Bar has been sold! While we have lots of cover and solo work still available, having paid performance opportunities for original bands is (in my opinion) vital to keeping the music industry alive and vibrant in our city! It is also the main way we employ other industry professionals like sound engineers, and we love them and want to keep them working on this stuff too! So, if you have any thoughts on a venue who might like to host some FANTASTIC bands for a few hours a week, or even somewhere youd love to play and would like us to approach them for you, comment below! This group has rallied a few times now to keep our events alive and find us new homes - lets see what we an do!! <3
