17.01.2022 Lately I have been sharing some great postural tips and releases. Today I wanted to talk about laptops! These are one of the major courses of kyphosis. TIPS Get a seperate keypad - this will allow you to put your laptop on a stand making the screen eye height ... Use an adjustable desk - throughout your day change from standing to sitting at the desk, the more movement the better! Encourage mobility - try to spend no longer than 45minutes on the laptop without stretching out or doing a simple shoulder roll Do not put the laptop on your lap - if you are using a laptop on a couch make sure you place it on a small table, not your lap The best thing to do, is remember that the more you move the less likely your body is going to stiffen up!

05.01.2022 Well it’s almost been one week. One week since I watched my industry (the Hospitality industry) deplete over night and millions of those in it lose their jobs. ...With NO access to government funding or support. Over 80% of Australia’s hospitality industry relies on foreign workers yet they are the first ones impacted and left in the cold with no support as the stimulus packages are only offered to citizens and PRs. This past week has made me (and hopefully the greater community) realise just how much we take for granted; the freedom, ability and choice we have as Melbournians and Australians when it comes to; where we should go for dinner, drinks, a good night out and even those post-night-out snack bars that are open till all sorts of crazy hours in the morning. It takes people, it takes workers and it takes dedication to a vibrant industry that essentially staples our human need for interaction, community and togetherness. And we have every dishy, waitress, kitchen hand, chef and barman to thank for these options. Whilst many of us have been greatly impacted with the loss of jobs, income and not knowing when the next pay check will come in, it is sobering to think about what we can do together to help one another through this time. So with this, my friends and I have created an initiative to help lower the cost of living by putting together grocery care packages to last 2 weeks at a time. And we need your support. Think about a time you had the best meal in your life. Think about the time you sat for hours across the bar, being audience to the flair and skill of a cocktail maestro.
