24.01.2022 RMFL AGM The AGM of the RMFL was held earlier on this evening. Retiring President Terry Connolly thanked all of the clubs administrators, players, volunteers an...d Executive Committee members for making 2020 such a success under the challenging COVID circumstances. Terry also paid tribute to the 26 years of commitment by retiring Vice President John Robinson. Ken Braun also resigned from the committee during the season and his presence will be missed. Terry presented his final Presidents report, Treasurer Kelvin Farnham presented the finances for the season, Randall Cocks the Umpires Report and Mitch Noye the Junior Report. Mary-Lou Griffiths was announced as the SANFL administrator of the Year, and will receive the award at the 2021 SANFL Forum early next year. Officers were elected onto the Executive Committee, then the office bearers were elected. The Executive Committee for 2021 will consist of; President - Michelle Hill Vice President - To be filled Treasurer - Kelvin Farnham Secretary - Mary-Lou Griffiths Committee - Matt Hood Committee - Shane Snell Committee - To be filled A key change voted in favour was Junior Age Groups, 2021 will see the Junior age groups; Under 18, Under 16, Under 14. Clubs also agreed that the lower grades (not offical RMFL competitions) should then Under 12 and Under 10. Auskick is an under 8 level activity. The season fixture is yet to be ratified and could see some changes from previous seasons. Imperial President David Schenscher paid tribute to the leadership provided by Terry Connolly through not only the COVID season just completed but also the three seasons in the chair, the quorum concurred with a round of applause. Once further arrangements are available they will be published here in the RMFL Facebook Page.

Matt has had a long association with our Club as a player, senior assistant coach and premiership winning U17.5s coach. ... 16.01.2022 Training update This week... TUESDAY night... . Under 14s - Tuesday at Unity College 5:00pm - 6:30pm . Under 16s/18s and Seniors - at the Club Tuesday night and Adelaide based Seniors as per usual session Tuesday THURSDAY night Guest Speaker night for all - Mike Fenwick (Sport Psychology Coach) Junior Session 4:30pm - 5:45pm Seniors Session 6:30pm - 8.00pm Teas available (hot dogs/chips). Team Managers/Coaches for each team will be in touch with players regarding numbers and pre order of teas.

15.01.2022 Last night was the junior presentation awards. Congratulations to all the trophy winners and thanks to all the trophy donors. The club would also like to thank everyone who has helped volunteer throughout the year. Without your support the club can’t operate. We look forward to 2021.

13.01.2022 Junior Footy Training will commence on the following dates - Under 18’s and 16’s - Tuesday 2nd February at 5.30-6.45. Under 18s are invited to train on Thursday nights with the senior group. Under 14, 12, 10 & 7’s - Tuesday 2nd March at 4.45-5.45. All trainings will be held at the Mypolonga footy club. In the coming weeks will have registrations open. If you are a returning player you will receive an email so you can register.
