01.01.2022 Congratulations to the Largs Pier Hotel, which will be Inducted into the AMC SA Music Hall of Fame next month. The Largs is being recognised for its outstanding... contribution to live original music as a venue in the 1970's where it gave rise to bands like Cold Chisel, The Angels, AC/DC, Split Enz, Little River Band, Skyhooks not to mention Billy Thorpe and many many more great artists. Its place in Adelaide music history is legendary and this award is befitting and presented in honour of its former status as a live venue and a bygone era of great achievements. The Induction will take place on Friday September 25th and due to Covid, will unfortunately be a closed and invite-only ceremony. The Largs Pier opened in 1882 and is a Heritage Listed building.
