We are ordering a new bank valuation for this property hence the importance of ensuring the place presents nicely to influence the value. Doing a mini makeover on the gardens once a year is recommended on all investment properties as things like bark on gardens is actually the owners responsibility, not the tenants! ... If you aren’t spending a few thousand every year on your investment by keeping it maintained, there is every chance you are not doing the right thing by your asset!

If the location is right, price is right and your unit potentially has a point of different to attract good money, then buying off the plan can be a great way to make money when investing in real estate.... This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1 car unit was just sold on the Gold Coast in Palm Beach for $700,000. Not bad in the middle of COVID and winter when this place was purchased for under $500,000 2 years ago. The Gold Coast is still one of our predicted areas to benefit the most post the chaos of COVID given the health, transport, education departments are all huming, big infrastructure projects are there and major development is still happening. The Gold Coast isn’t about meter maids anymore and the boom and bust days are well and truely behind this town especially when the rental returns are also strong everywhere!
