23.01.2022 The Powercor demolition contractor confirmed that they recycled over 99% of building material from the site including concrete and brickwork which is being recycled into road base for the new Melbourne tunnels. I think this is a great point to highlight in the post. Other than that, the project took approximately 3 months and included careful removal of a rock feature wall and the successful removal of a communications tower.
