21.01.2022 Another lovely Sun-Day, I can not contain but to share my notes from todays me time with the Lord. It is a fascinating and moving words from The Words of Wisdom session in #everynationsg by Pastor Joey Bonifacio. #MrsAreflection: The Idea of Discipline. Lords Discipline = Lord Disciplines Out of LOVE He disciplines us and His discipline is an exemption! ... I was disciplined by two strong women in my life in different ways, my Mum Norma Frigllana and my Sister Iya Frigillana Batto! Their reasoning is simple because they love me. Now that I am a Mum of Stephen (my son) at his early age he was disciplined by me and my husband. He was cornered at a young age. I remember, he will have his 3 warnings and followed by facing the wall in the corner. Reason being is for us not to lift our hands on him and for him to reflect why he is facing the wall. After, is the importance of explaining what went wrong, why we need to do that? Those simple things that sometimes as a parent, we cannot do because of our pride and idea that I am your Mum/Dad. Assuring that we care and we love him is a good way of mending his broken heart and for him to grow as the beautiful boy as God intended him to be.
