19.01.2022 Today, 19 players played a stableford event plus finals of the scratch event. Craig Shewell took home two prizes, C grade scratch Champion and stableford winner with 42 points. Tony Chapman won the B grade scratch. Congratulations to you both. Brad Carroll knocked off Bimbo Wales in the semi- finals of the O'May.

18.01.2022 Today we had 19 players in the Wednesday Comp., including 4 from Kooringal. A bush ranger from Tarrawingee, Brash Kelly won the day with 40 points. I played with Brash, one nine 26 points. Good to have Jan play with us too. This Friday, Chook run will be held, all welcome,5.30pm although very hot weather is forecast, which leads me to Saturday. If BOM forecast temperature 40 degrees or above, all players must hit off before 8.30am. The competition the Saturday is 4B aggregate stableford and John Costello is on duty

15.01.2022 We had 22 players played in the monthly medal donated by Drummond. Captain Doug Wain won the medal and Karl won the A grade event Also today was the semi-final of the O'May shield and Geoff Veldman won on the 19th. Geoff will play Tony Chapman in the final. It is always great to share our course with visitors. Today I played with Matt from Gippsland who was turned away from Bright, came through to Myrtleford and was thrilled by his experience with our course. 15.01.2022 19 Ladies played in the Adam Cartwright Electrical event today. Winner of the 18 hole competition Marg Curtis and 9 hole Betty Newton. The good news out of today is that the ladies will again run the par 3 event on Australian Day

13.01.2022 28 players played in the Adam Cartwright Electrical stableford event today and Simon who loves Wednesdays, won again. Karl O'Shaughnessy won A grade. We had many visitors,including Matt from Northcote, beautiful golfer, popular visitor Max from Yarrawonga, country member Gus and Chris from Thurgoona. This Saturday Drummond monthly Medal, duty Trout Batt and Robert Wheeler

11.01.2022 Two of our best golfers went head to head for the final of the scratch player's championships. Aaron Jose, club champion and Craig Piazza, runner up club champion played till the 18th to determine the winner - Congratulations Craig on a great effort. Craig commented after the game that he had never seen a player drive the ball as far as Aaron. The future is looking good for our club with two great young players!

11.01.2022 Today 32 players played in the Adam Cartwright Electrical Stableford including two ladies. There was some very good scores, A grade- David Clark 42, on a countback from Craig Piazza and B grade winner with a great score 46, Chris Rowney, local boy, living at Tumut. A big shout out to Andrew Roseby who gave up his game of golf to look after the office. Thanks Andrew

11.01.2022 Another big day and great atmosphere at our Club. 30 players from the Porepunkah Caravan Park hit off at 7.00am. They have been coming to our Club for around 20 years. Thanks to Peter Ternes for booking them in and Dick Matthews looking after the bar. In the men's comp., 22 players, A grade David Rowe and B grade Elijah Wales. Terry Schultz had his first hit as a new member, welcome Terry. This Saturday, stableford, Andrew Roseby Duty.

10.01.2022 MYRTLEFORD GOLF CLUB ASSISTANT GROUNDSKEEPER/LABOURER Permanent Part time Assistant Groundskeeper/Labourer... We are seeking a person to assist in the maintenance of the golf course in a position offering an average of 24 hours per week. Tasks will include mowing, turf preparation and management, watering, weeding, planting, tree maintenance, use of chemicals and machinery and equipment maintenance. 10.01.2022 Tonight, 13 played in hot conditions, in our Chook run, including 4 non members which is great. Winner of the chook was Greg Langdon 19 points. nearest pins, Ash Hall 1st, Greg 4th and Craig McKerral 8th. We hope we have more numbers next week.

06.01.2022 Myrtleford Golf Club well represented today with five members playing in the NEDGA Opening Day at Bright. Despite the low scores on the day the fellowship, weather conditions and the course were perfect.

06.01.2022 Tonight, 18 players played in our Chook run. Three players came in on 21 and Ann Hazeldene was the best on a count back from David Rowe and Paul Evans. Signed up another new member and other visitor got her first card in. Also tonight, supporters of the Football Club visited our Club to witness the draw of the Club 50. Forecast Temp. tomorrow 39, so normal hitting off. Good Hitting

02.01.2022 There were two very tough matches played on the course today - the semi finals of the Ian O’May singles championships. Faye McLees v Judy Bynon, with Faye the winner on the 15th, 5/3. Sandra Piazza played Angela O’Shaughnessy and had a win on the 17th, 2 up. The stage is set for a ripper GF this time next week! #thesegirlsareunstoppable......
