25.01.2022 A perfect rainy Sunday activity for Members... Get onto the MindBody App or Website, and book into your classes! With Covid-19 restrictions our classes are capped, so you need to book into the classes you wish to attend. This goes for both Bright AND Myrtleford.... If the 'BOOK NOW' button next to a class is replaced by 'CALL' it means the class is full - so please select another. Remember at this stage we are having Members Only - no casual or drop in visits until we gauge capacity. Also get in touch if you are interested in joining (or re-joining after a break) so that we can keep you updated when spaces open up. Any tech issues contact Elyse - 0414 644 004 Elyse x https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/ws

24.01.2022 A copy of our new timetable for those who would like it - we will pin it to the top of this page for easy access. Everyone should have gotten some last minute reminders via text yesterday, any queries send them through! And for those feeling a little nervous, be assured it will be a slow and steady re-start for everyone - we've all had time off, so the plan is nice and easy to begin with.... ... See you soon Elyse x

24.01.2022 Hey Team, First of all Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there, we hope your enjoying this beautiful weekend! So - as per todays announcement, and given the little info we have so far, this is how things will be looking (we think):... Regional VIC Step 2 (starting Sep 14) - We are to remain CLOSED Regional VIC Step 3 (TBC, possibly starting Sep 28 best case scenario) - Gyms will be Heavily Restricted - If we are able to OPEN during this time we will, but until we know what 'heavily restricted' looks like we aren't too sure if we will be able to. Regional VIC Step 4 (TBC, possibly starting Oct 26 ) - Gyms OPEN but restricted. We imagine this would look like the 6 week period we were open this year - with capped numbers, good hygiene, booking systems etc. So to sum it up we hope to be able to Re-Open sometime within the next 3 - 7 weeks... We will be contacting industry bodies, getting all the info we can, and will keep you all updated throughout. THANK YOU to all our clients - we will get back eventually, and it will be amazing, Love you all, Matt, Elyse & the Team xx

23.01.2022 Hi Team! Just a heads up for those asthmatics or hay fever sufferers - There is a significant Thunderstorm Asthma warning for the next 1-2 days. Please use caution with exercising, carry asthma medication, and if unsure stay home until the warning has passed. Your health is more important than one or two missed sessions.

23.01.2022 Update: We are unfortunately still forced to remain closed until VIC Step 4 Easing of Restrictions (After Nov 26 / VIC has 0 cases for 14 days). We are incredibly disappointed This is based on current information, which does change a lot, so we will continue to keep you updated if/when the situation changes. ... We are looking at the options of small outdoor groups, but need to assess if this can work for our staff, Insurances and permits. IF this is something we decide to offer, it would likely be after school resumes next term. Any queries feel free to contact Elyse #missyouall

20.01.2022 WE ARE CLOSED - PLEASE SHARE It’s with sadness we announce we will be again closing due to Covid-19 & the return to Stage 3 Restrictions. With the closure of all gyms being enforced for Wednesday night, we’ve made the decision to close effective immediately. The goal of restrictions is to limit peoples movements, and as a business that has a lot of contact points each day, we feel it’s our responsibility to act as soon as we are able to - hence no classes next week. ... At this stage we won’t be returning to creating new online classes. Our existing content will remain accessible to all members, and will be shared free of charge, so those who want to go back and complete the classes at home will be able to do so. We may look at hiring the rowers and ski ergs, but please give us a few days to work this out. We are so disappointed, as we know you are too. It has been so great to see you all getting back into the swing of training, and reconnect with your fellow boot campers. Over the next 6 weeks please continue to be active, and please check in on your friends, as this is going to be another tough time for many. Here’s hoping this is the last time we have to do this, Please help us share this info with your training friends to ensure the message is received by all, Thanks guys, Love from Matt & Elyse and the team x

19.01.2022 Hi Myrtleford Bootcamp-ers! With the year close to wrapping up, we wanted to share the news of some changes happening at our Myrtleford gym in the New Year. Our head coach, and good friend, Shane Yost will be taking a break from coaching in 2021. ... Shane has been with us from the beginning of our Myrtleford Bootcamp and has been with us every step of the way. From our early days at the Footy Club, into our big shed in 2019, all the way into 2020 up until here. And we could not have done it without him. We’re not saying goodbye, and Shane isn’t leaving town. His break from coaching is well deserved, although he will be missed by many! So what next for us?.. Well, arriving in Myrtleford today, and stepping into Yosti’s shoes in the New Year, will be Jane Erbacher. Jane is an amazing coach, educator and all-round legend. You may know her as the Project Row’ or ‘Ski Erg Chick’ - which she is, but also so much more. Jane has been a trainer for over 20 years, owned her own gym, run seminars all over the world, and we are so excited for you to all meet and get to know her. Her infectious enthusiasm and passion is renowned, and her knowledge and skills just as impressive. Welcome to the Alpine Valley Jane!

19.01.2022 Have you heard?! We’re Back!! As of June 22 both Bright & Myrtleford Gym’s will be re-opened Who’s excited? We can’t wait . .... . #brightbootcamp #myrtlefordbootcamp See more

19.01.2022 Hi Team, As we plan for our re-opening, we will be contacting each of you, to get an idea of your intention to return to training from June 22. With restrictions on numbers still likely to be affecting us for many months, things are going to need to be a little different. One of those will be the number of members we can accept. We will be capping numbers to avoid congestion. We also won’t be taking casual visits for gym classes in the near further. ... Pilates, barre and yoga will still have casual spots available to book. For the first month or two this is likely to mean not everyone who was a member with us in 2019, will be able to join back in 2020, not straight away anyway. But we will continue to be working hard to accommodate everyone that we can - please be patient as we navigate this strange new world. So if you get a text or call from me this week - let me know if you are a yay or a nay for returning to training, and it will help us greatly with our planning in the coming fortnight. Thanks everyone Elyse x

18.01.2022 Hi All, An important reminder: PLEASE give 24 hours notice for cancelling booked classes. We have had 102 late cancellations so far this week ... We are not trying to be difficult, we'd love to not worry about Covid, capacity, and booking systems - but we unfortunately need to. We ask this out of respect for your fellow clients, so that anyone on a waitlist gets sufficient time to be notified that they can attend and organise their day. We as a business would also ask it out of respect for us. You expect us to be there when we say we will, and to turn up on time. We ask the same from you. We know that sometimes life doesn't go to plan, and we offer our understanding in some instances, but 102 late cancellations already this week is crap. We are currently not accepting casual visits, turning away this clientele and income - to save all our spaces for members. We also have yet to start the late cancellation fee, but will do so if this continues. Please lets try to do better, (so i don't have an aneurism) Thank you!! Elyse x

11.01.2022 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR OUTDOOR BOOTCAMP Hey everyone! We are looking at our options for Myrtleford Bootcamp, and we'd love your input. We are considering running outdoor classes on a Monday and Wednesday, at the Myrtleford Football Club (where it all began ;)) All classes would be with Shane. ... Please TEXT Elyse on 0414 644 004 - with the sessions you'd like to attend, over an initial 4 week trial, start date TBC (but will be Monday Oct 5 or after) We need minimum numbers for this to go ahead, so please share around, text your workout buddies, and get your training preferences in asap. Outdoor classes / Groups of 10 Sessions/classes are 45 minutes All classes are $15, and payment for 4 weeks must be made upfront You need to TEXT ELYSE 0414 644 004 which sessions you would like to attend for the 4 week block. You will receive a txt back confirming your booking. Due to the heavily restricted numbers, once made, bookings cannot be changed. Any missed booked sessions cannot be refunded or credited. We hope you can understand we cannot be as flexible as we usually are with these restrictions. If classes fill up ,and there is significant demand, more classes may be added TEXT your preferences to 0414 644 004 With having only opened last September, and being hit with all that 2020 has brought, its been a tough year for Myrtleford Bootcamp. Hopefully before the end of the year Thanks Team x

06.01.2022 Hey Bootcampers, I'm hoping everyone is doing awesome. Just a quick reminder, I have painted a yellow line (not as pretty as the pictured one ) around the corner of our street to give plenty of space for the trucks that drive through our neighbourhood. If everyone could not park on the corner and away from the yellow line, it would be greatly appreciated and help keep the peace. Thanks a bunch team, and I'll see everyone tomorrow!!
