23.01.2022 This Wednesday 25th November is International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. This day is observed globally and highlights that women and girls have a right to live free from violence and that violence against women is internationally recognised as a violation of these human rights. The Salvation Army wholeheartedly supports efforts to eliminate violence within families. Our commitment to gender equality means that we care about instances of violence which affect any person- as human life is sacred and all people should be treated with dignity and respect.
