24.01.2022 It’s been such a fun term so far at MYSHA Girls! We’ve sung, we’ve danced, we’ve sculpted, we’ve mapped, we’ve played, we’ve created, we’ve balanced, we’ve meditated, we’ve listened and we’ve shared. It’s been joyous! This Friday we will take the scheduled break for the public holiday and Look forward to returning on Friday, 21st.

Zzzzz...Time for bed!

The common ground in all three activations is a need for the down regulation of the brain and central nervous system’s mobilisation of adrenal and stress hormones. By placing our focus as carers, educators and child advocates on A. acknowledgement and allowing expression of feelings in safe ways (e.g. through the expressive arts) with safe people ...who are trained to C. connect with compassion and coherence, we can T. together work towards transmutation of fear to trust. 09.01.2022 Today’s MYSHA GIRLS circle will be the final gathering for term 2. I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the challenges we have faced over these past weeks, as families. It has required us to think outside the box. To be open and curious and more flexible than ever before. I had never so much as dreamed of the format that it took, yet we have proven ourselves to be resilient and adaptable and creative problem solvers! I am grateful and I am in awe of these young girls and of you all as families to come through this so willingly. Thank you from my heart. Let’s enjoy our final gathering today and dedicate it to the human heart’s amazing-ness! To our human need and ability to find new ways to unite, to connect and ultimately to LOVE one another. 04.01.2022 Hi Everyone! The new term of MYSHA Girls starts back this Friday afternoon, live via Zoom and I have a couple of places available!! (Ages Prep to Yr. 6) Our trial at the end of term one worked really well and I have put together ... a program for T2, which I am really excited about, called CREATIVE CONNECTIONS. We will still have lots of music, singing, some meditation, yoga and creative art making and in addition, I will guide the girls through some arts-based reflective processes on the theme of connections". The Creative Connections program is one which I believe is important for our girls at this time of physical distancing to stay connected and to understand that there are many ways to feel a sense of loving connection without being in face to face contact with our friends. If this is something you feel you’d like to sign up for, please let me know as soon as possible via PM as I am putting together some CREATIVE FUN resource packs which will contain all the bits and bobs your girls will need. Today we made paper chains with the names of our friends written on all the links, talked about the ways we enjoy connecting with friends and community and topped our zoom call off with some silly dancing! SO. MUCH. FUN!!!!!! #stayingconnected #girlpower

With school starting back next week, I wanted to write to you all and see who might be interested in continuing with our Friday afternoon MYSHA Girls sessions, live via zoom!... I think that the trial we had at the end of last term went really well and I have put together a program which I am excited about called CREATIVE CONNECTIONS. We will still have lots of music, singing, some meditation, yoga and creative art making and in addition, I will guide the girls through some arts-based reflective processes on the theme of connections". If this is something you feel you’d like to sign up for, please let me know as soon as possible as I will put together some CREATIVE FUN resource packs which will contain all the bits and bobs your girls will need. The fees will be heavily discounted due to the online format to $100 for the 8 week term (instead of $160). Plus there will be a $20 fee for the resources packs including the reflection notes, watercolours, pastels, paper, and other stationery items. So $120 in total.
