03.01.2022 There’s no way I’m cooking tonight! No, I’m just not doing it! This is me at the end of the week! ... So most Friday nights you’ll find me at Pauly's Fish and Chips! Fish is my favourite meal, I think that comes from being a fisherman’s daughter, it’s what I grew up on! What my Dad caught we ate! I grew up in a small fishing town in the South Coast of England and I absolutely loved going out fishing with my Dad on his boat, these are some of my best childhood memories The smell of the sea the smell of the boat, the smell of the fish! My Sister didn’t love it as much as I did as she suffers from motion sickness! We would be our no time at all before she would say I don’t feel well, can we go back? This was my face! I could’ve stayed out all day or even longer! I made these cookies for the guys at my local Fish and Chip shop as a little thank you for being O-Fish-ally the best at serving up some of the best fish and chips around! Ange x

01.01.2022 MY STORY Hello! I’m Ange, the face behind My Sister’s Shortbread! ... Let me tell you how it all started.....it’s all in the name! The mouth-watering shortbread recipe originates from England While I was growing up, my family home had a comforting and delicious smell, my sister would find any excuse to bake shortbread! Even now, the smell takes me back to those years living in Sussex by the sea! I emigrated to Perth with my wonderful husband Harvey in 2005, and I missed my sister’s shortbread so much I started to bake it myself! It wasn’t long before I made good friends here in Perth and when they called in for a cuppa I would offer them some shortbread and proudly say it’s my sister’s recipe Everyone loved it as much as I did! Fast forward 15 years and I’m still baking! Our gorgeous son, Lenny, pictured above arrived in 2010 to complete our family story! I couldn’t resist sharing our Christmas photo with you!
