Which is why a specialist Orthodontist like Dr Steve Smith spends so long learning their skills! Each bracket, or aligner, is used to specifically and carefully, target just the right amount of pressure on to your teeth. This pressure is what helps guide your teeth into position. Teeth naturally move as we age and grow, so retaining this new position is important. During treatment, we do this through orthodontic wires, or wearing our aligners. Once treatment is finished we provide you with a retainer to wear at night, this will ensure that your pearly whites stay in line!
