23.01.2022 BREAKING: WIN IN THE COURTS! Ben Winch has successfully had numerous bail conditions removed allowing him to return to Camp Binbee! For over 18 months, onerous ...bail conditions have been applied to dozens of activists who have been arrested in the area, prohibiting them from returning to Camp Binbee. Winch applied to have these conditions removed in the Supreme Court and won! The removal of the "Camp Binbee" bail condition was based on it being a direct infringement on Winch's civil liberties, and there being no real legal basis to preclude him from going to the property. In response to this win, Winch states, These bail conditions that have been given to activists in this region for years are completely unfair, and I thought it was time to change them. Head to frontlineaction.org and join this movement and follow in Ben's footsteps

20.01.2022 BREAKING: Work has been disrupted on the site of Adani’s controversial Carmichael mine this morning, with two people locking themselves to an excavator. Mac & P...otto said their action was a demonstration of the robust democracy required when our government has failed to take adequate steps to avoid climate breakdown. Potto says, Every poll has suggested that the majority of Australians want climate action and do not support the Adani mine, yet both major parties support the project. When those supposed to lead us are blocking desperately needed climate action, everyday people need to use all the tools of political power we have to balance out the disproportionate influence of mining companies. That means taking direct actions like this to put our bodies in the way of destructive projects. As the saying goes: this is democracy, manifest. #BlockadeAdani by heading to shorturl.at/chvwO today.

18.01.2022 In most states, Dingoes are classified as vermin, which means it's legal to bait, trap and shoot Dingoes and their hybrids. But finally some farmers are findin...g a Dingo-friendly approach is gaining better results than the above and learning to co-exist is the best way. Not too long ago a Queensland cattle farmer (Angus Emmott) recalled the following: "As a youngster we used to always bait and we were always putting traps out and trapping Dingoes", "So it was an ongoing war back in the day". But these days Angus lets Dingoes roam free on his farm. "At no effort to yourself it provides control of your feral animals and also your large number of roos", he says...."So it's a win-win, in saying that, Dingoes do take a certain number of calves-it's very low, but I think with all the other benefits that's a pretty small price to pay." Research backs up the idea that attempts to eliminate Dingoes are counter productive. In many cases where they have killed Dingoes they have seen more stock losses - more animals killed than ever before and more Dingoes living in that area rather than less, (but in fractured pack structures)! Then there's also other negative effects like, more kangaroos, and more foxes and less grasses. Treating Dingoes as vermin has been unsuccessful all these years. The Dingo is a unique and extraordinary animal, just because it looks like a dog, it loses any value, when in fact it's the most valuable animal in our ecosystem! But then there's the wool board who feels that Dingoes and feral dogs remain the sheep farmers worst enemy. They say "in the long run their numbers have to be reduced", and Wool Producers Australia has put together a national wild dog action plan to rid our Dingoes that we've got in rural Australia! It's a well known fact with many that we need our Dingoes and we must get them off of the vermin listing. If farmers can learn to coexist with the Dingo, we can and will all benefit.... The Dingoes future ultimately depends on how we - governments, landholders, scientists, conservationists, the media and the public - chooses to see them and how this influences our views on how we should or shouldn't manage them. Ideally a sustainable coexistence that uses non-lethal approaches to conflict resolution such as concentrating on guardian livestock animals without further baiting. Some fine examples of keeping Dingoes on their property's are Evelyn Downs, Woolleen Station and Dunluce Station just to name a few....

01.01.2022 Whether in the wild or in domestic situations we must always remember that what a Dingo learns between 4 to 16 weeks is the basis of its adult life....The Dingo... matures early and this is a learning period that can never be replaced. It is a good period of time when all good or bad things that get learnt is instilled and never forgotten, and a bond that is never broken. See more
