05.01.2022 Local policeman, Greg Paul is on leave at present, participating in a number of XC ski world loppets. On February 4th at Oberammergau, Germany he came a very commendable 168th in a field of 554 (of whom 436 finished) in the Konig Ludwig Lauf Loppet race. This is despite very limited training due to him having to travel from Australia. We offer Greg our congratulations and can assure him that he has our support for his forthcoming races on his European tour. The World Loppet ...series is a series of marathon XC ski races held around the world, and are regarded as the world's premier races. Australia hosts one race in this series held at Falls Creek each August, called the Kangaroo Hoppet. (Mystic Mountains Ski Hire in Narbethong is proud to have outfitted Greg with his warm-up clothing)
