20.01.2022 Hey Everyone, As the current pandemic situation continues to escalate, as of next week (Monday 30th March) I will be moving all music lessons (both guitar and drums) to online via Skype. This is obviously a very disrupting time, but I'd like to take this time to ensure you I'm dedicated to yours or your child's music education. By moving to an online platform it will allow all my students to have access to their usual lesson from the comfort of their own home. However in thi...s situation, I understand that some people may postpone lessons due to their personal situation. That's totally fine! I'm sure many people have had education, sporting, entertainment and other leisure activities entirely cancelled, so I'd extend this also as an opportunity for new students to participate in further education or simply something to do whilst confined to their home. 18.01.2022 Hi Students and Parents/Guardians, Due to the current circumstances with the Covid-19 virus spreading and health advice from the various levels of government, Ill be asking if any student is showing any cold/flu symptoms to please not attend your scheduled lesson. If you could please notify me ahead of time before the lesson if either a student is unwell or are in contact with an unwell family member/household member. I am aware of the rapidly changing situation and at this ...stage lessons will be going ahead as normal, however I will keep everyone updated with lessons going forward. I for one would like to do my part to adhere to medical advice and look after the health of not only myself, but all of my students and their families/friends in the wider community and my family with being a home run business. One thing I am implementing now is the possibility of Skype lessons, Im in the process of setting up for this to happen. This will allow any students or parent/guardians to decide if they wish to still attend their lesson in the chance that public movement is limited further by government decisions and the risk the Virus poses. Again I will send a notification out when this is up and running, hopefully in the next day or two. 14.01.2022 This week marks the end of an Era! This is Kai and he was my first ever student when I started teaching in Brisbane 2015....5 years ago!! It's safe to say that he helped me kick off what I've been able to create to this day. Kai is finishing up to focus on his senior years of high school, as well as signing up to more commitments in his school music program which is awesome. When he started he just wanted to play drums for something to do, now the fact he said "I don't have time because I'm doing so much music at school" brings me a great sense of pride and achievement that I've contributed to that passion So all the best Kai, it's been great having you for a whole 5 years and enjoy your senior years!

06.01.2022 It's good to be back for a delayed start to term 1 2021! Thank you to all my students patiently waiting a couple of extra weeks while I was away for the birth of my daughter. Now that she has finally come into this world, lessons are back to normal and I can't wait to see everyone back for another great year of music! -Shawn.
