The airlines that are flying have been increasingly difficult for travellers to a) get a confirmed seat, and b) getting confirmation and then at the airport being bumped off the flight due to international flight caps. They are cracking down hard. Travellers are also paying an absolute premium (often its a business class fare) just to get home.
