24.01.2022 Hey everyone, This is Henry our resident 'Scottish Highland Hairy Coo!' (Pronounced with a thick Scottish accent ) Henry has been at Myuna Farm for about 12 months now. ... Henry was originally rescued by the City of Casey Local Laws team, Henry had unfortunately been abandoned and needed a new home The Local Laws team worked very hard to find Henry a new home, and luckily we had a spot just right for Henry at Myuna Farm! Henry arrived in relatively good condition, though in need of a serious pedicure and a feed. After Henry had his feet trimmed up and his belly filled he was ready to get comfy and make a new home at Myuna Farm. FUN FACTS - As their name suggests, highland hairy cows originate from the Scotland Highlands, though they can now be found all over the world - Highland cows are well adapted to deal with cold conditions! Our winter here is no problem at all for them. - Henry weighs in at about 800kg - Henry loves many types of food, Lucerne hay is a tasty treat for Henry. - Henry lives happily with his friends, Lunar and Honey the brown Jersey cows and Lucy the black and white fresian cow in the Myuna farm paddocks. We hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about Henry! Happy Friday folks! #behindthefarmgateupdate
