15.01.2022 [ Vendée Globe : Jour 80] Yannick Bestaven et Maître CoQ vainqueurs de la neuvième édition du Vendée Globe !... Arrivé aux Sables d’Olonne jeudi à 4h19’46, Yannick Bestaven, dont le temps de course final, une fois retranchées les 10 heures et 15 minutes de compensation pour sa participation au sauvetage de Kevin Escoffier, est de 80 jours 3 heures 44 minutes et 46 secondes (12,6 nœuds de vitesse moyenne théorique, 14,8 nœuds de vitesse moyenne réelle), est le grand vainqueur de la neuvième édition du Vendée Globe. Un exploit retentissant pour le skipper de Maître CoQ, âgé de 48 ans, qui, pour sa deuxième participation (la première en 2008), aura mené la course pendant 26 jours. 11.01.2022 Well that's a wrap for Sailfest Newcastle. That was so much fun words can't explain it. So good to see owners having a blast with their Race Yachts. It was just... amazing to come away with our first regatta win with Patrice yacht racing team onboard Patrice 360. We had 8 TP 52's racing in a fantastic course area just of Newcastle with three windward leeward races on Saturday and one passage race on Sunday in 25-30knots. Congrats to all the TP52 owners and crews for a fantastic regatta on and off the water.
