24.01.2022 INCREDIBLE NEWS! I’ve been selected Participate in the mental health charity walk on K’gari Fraser Island! As a successful participant, I will be heading over t...o the island on Tasman Venture Hervey Bay to hike and walk the world heritage listed island. Prior to this event I will be raising much-needed funds and awareness to assist Mindfull Aus in spreading mental health awareness and education. Raising funds for this adventure is close to my heart because mental health affects everyone and I would love your support in helping me get to my fundraising goal of $1000! 24.01.2022 Spontaneous learning Reading the same books to our kids has many benefits but seriously kids, every night for 2 months in a row is just too much . After a ban on Winnie the Pooh was enforced, my little girl chose her ABC book. As we were reading the book, she began to discuss letter formations (down, down, across was a H ) so I jumped at the opportunity to encourage her to have a go at writing the letters....I have been much more relaxed about it lately. She happily too...k the chance to have a go at writing different letters and naming them but is still unusually disappointed that her name doesn't contain a W. 15.01.2022 Anxiety can be a debilitating condition. 1 in 7 Australians are currently experiencing an anxiety condition. Anxiety runs in my family. I have suffered from Generalised Anxiety Disorder since I was a teenager. My father has Agoraphobia - an anxiety disorder that creates fear of places and situations that might cause panic, helplessness or embarrassment. This condition has taken so much away from him.
