25.01.2022 It gives us great pleasure to announce the 42nd Nacra nationals are to be held at Hervey bay sailing club from the 30th of December 2020 to the 5th January 2021.... Hervey Bay is a relaxed seaside town with heaps of accomodation ranging from caravan parks to 5 star resorts all with in walking distance to the club. Hervey Bay has had a long history with the Nacra class. Hosting many national and state titles over years. It also hosted the inaugural 5.8 world titles in 1991 this will be the 30th Anniversary of the event and we are expecting a large 5.8 fleet again to attend. The nationals are open to all class legal Nacra catamarans so we hope to see as many of you there as possible. We are aiming to have NOR out in coming months. 24.01.2022 Ok, third time lucky - hopefully this lot can be read ;) Thanks Stephan for doing results. He finishes racing himself, secures his boat, and then heads upstairs... to get results done, so it's understandable he is still looking a little windswept! Provisional results, one day of racing left tomorrow.

18.01.2022 Here it is! The 40th Nacra Nationals Notice Of Race. We will be emailing it to NSW members over the weekend. If you are interstate and would like a PDF version please PM the NACRA NSW team with your email address and they will send it to you ASAP. You can print the entry form on this post by copying and pasting the pics into a Word Doc. To assist us with organising the Nationals we are asking competitors to complete their entry before the 1st of December. For those that are camping at GLSC please complete the required field on the entry form with number of nights you intend to stay and we will send you a camping certificate for a 6m x 7m site. Cost is $10 a night. Please include payment with your entry. See you all at Forster!

15.01.2022 It’s now only 202 days until the start of the 42nd Nacra Nationals! We are confident that everyone will be able to attend and we encourage all Nacra sailors to join us for this special event at Hervey Bay. We will also be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the 1st Nacra 5.8 World Titles which we’re also held at Hervey Bay. We can’t wait to see you all at what should be an awesome event.

14.01.2022 The NACRA Association of Queensland have made the heart felt decision to postpone the Queensland State Titles at Easter. Consideration was made using current g...overnment directions, Australian Sailing Guidelines and the health and well being of Association Members, Families and guests. We are all very disappointed however health and safety is paramount. A big thank you to Humpybong Sailing Club for your assistance and understanding. Stay safe remember social distancing we’ll see you on the water soon.

10.01.2022 Not the best photo, but Congratulations to long time Nacra Sailor, Luke McMullen on launching his new 5.8 over the weekend at the Ellis Beach Regatta over the weekend. A total of 1 can of Bundy on each bow to celebrate!!

10.01.2022 Results for today, sorry about the delay in posting them

08.01.2022 Australian Nacra National Championships held on Lake Albert at Meningie South Australia from 30th December 2019 to January 4th 2020. It was mostly cold and wind...y unseasonally cold Southerly air resulting in two days racing cancelled due to the weather system in WA. We still managed to complete 10 of the planned 12 races. 07.01.2022 Nacra Australia is at Geelong for the Oceania titles and world championships for Nacra 17 and 49ers. Big thanks to Nacra sailing for getting the parts here on t...ime. We are on site till 3rd February and will be back for the world titles starting later this week. 01.01.2022 Nacra Victorias first major regatta the McCrae catamaran championships. With 45 boats attending this years regatta its great to see a nacra 16sq, 5.5 and 5.8 at the event.
