24.01.2022 Due to a family member in NSW falling ill unexpectedly, I won’t be in salon for at least 3weeks as the current covid restrictions require 2 weeks quarantine once back in QLD. I do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will post again when I have a return date. Carrie will be in salon though and she is happy to help with your hair needs in my absence. Sorry for any inconvenience.

24.01.2022 Hi everyone quick update, I’m Now taking bookings for September. I’ll be available Tuesday to Saturday by appointment. Please keep in mind the governments current health safety advice and guidelines if you have any flu like symptoms please re-schedule Your appointment until you are feeling 100% healthy. My daughter Scarlett will be in the salon with me on some days so occasionally I’ll have to stop what I’m doing to put a dummy in for her or tend to her briefly, Most days... she is very happy, content and well behaved. We have a very good routine and obviously I’ll be booking your appointments accordingly to avoid any unpleasant moments. If you prefer a baby free appointment time, which is perfectly understandable please just let me know in advance and I’ll let you know what I have available, I have a great support network here whom are more than happy to spend some time with baby Scarlett for a few hours when needed so that your hair needs have my undivided attention. 20.01.2022 Hi everyone just a quick update, as you all know I closed the salon due to the covid restrictions, but during that time I’ve also had my daughter a month earlier than expected. At this stage I’m not sure of an exact start date back at work for myself it just depends on how well my bubs is doing, but many of you may already know Carrie is now back working in the salon. 19.01.2022 Good morning everyone, as you all might have heard by now new restrictions have been put in place for hairdressers. Yes I can stay open but have appointments no longer then 30min, I feel like this isn’t a long enough timeframe for me to give you an amazing stylecut, let alone colour, foils, chemical straightens or extensions. I apologise for any inconvenience this caused but I have no choice but to cancel all future appointments and close my salon as of midnight tonight until... further notice. I ask that you please be respectful of my decision it’s not one I’ve made lightly. I wish all my clients and their family’s all the best while we all get through this horrible time. #stopthespread

16.01.2022 Hi thanks to everyone that’s messaged me to tell me our Prime Mister has changed his mind and lifted the 30min ban for hairdressers. At this stage my mind has not changed, I’m 7.5weeks away from having a newborn and I feel the risk outweighs the reward and I do not believe for a second that our prime mister won’t change his mind next week and tell us all to close again. I spent hours yesterday cancelling everyone and I don’t want to have to do it it again. Today I currently have 2 children home with me that are sick and therefore can’t go to daycare or school so many appointments for this week would have had to get rescheduled regardless so I can stay home to care for them. Thank you for your understanding
