24.01.2022 Sorry I’ve been slack on Facebook. Too much happening to upload images so here is an album from a rural road trip from 4 years ago.

23.01.2022 Just because. Happy Wednesday. #cutenessoverload #puppyplay

20.01.2022 All work and no play is not good for the soul. So, when the girls have free time, it’s straight to the farms pond. I’m very glad I brought the water camera with me on this trip. 20.01.2022 When you agree to let the kids go skating before you realise they have never been before. 2 out of 5 were very keen while the other 3 were adamant they were just watching. 15 minutes later, all 5 were in skates. They spent 2 hours falling and laughing while I had many heart palpitations whilst praying they did not break anything. A word of advice for those wanting to go - take your own socks. #somuchfun #BokorNightMarket #Kampot #Cambodia #goodtimes #livinginfearisntliving

18.01.2022 Last weeks bumps & bruises have faded. When the kids appeared at my room today, I asked if they wanted to go skating again. Squeals & smiles all round. When they had 1/2 hour left, I gave them the option of going for ice cream or continue skating for half an hour. The vote was unanimous - keep skating. These kids have their priorities right. Naturally I stopped and got them ice cream anyway. #Kampot #Cambodia #phnomVoar #skatepark #BokorNightMarkets #children

18.01.2022 Norfolk Island 2011 Still one of my favourite photography trips. #seetheworld #ilovenature and #tractors #NorfolkIsland #Australia

16.01.2022 Happy International Women’s Day. Thanks to the work of some amazing women and volunteers, all of these children now have more opportunities for a brighter future. 16.01.2022 Just because something is different does not mean it is wrong but I also believe that just because it is the way it has always been done does not mean it is the right way. An equal world is an enabled world. Empower others & be the change you wish to see in the world. #Cambodia #iwd2020 #EachforEqual #spreadlove #share

15.01.2022 IT’S CAKE TIME I hope this makes up for the poor quality video. A girl after my own heart - so excited to get a new pair of thongs. She was all over someone trying to pinch her crayons. A new dress from mummy. What more could a girl want!!! Education. Thank you Sister Mary Ange! Phnom Voar Valley Education-Farming-Development #loveyourwork #myfavouritelittlepeople #birthdaytime

15.01.2022 I met this gentleman on my last visit to Kampot. He saw me doing first aid on one of the students who had got some chemical in his eye. He asked (through a translator) if I could clean his eyes because he was having trouble seeing. Not surprising considering he does a lot of travelling and the dirt roads here create a lot of dust. I suspected he needed more than just a clean and eye drops so through my favourite translator I suggested he might need glasses. I said if it helpe...d to come back to my room in the morning for another eye rinse. While the cleaning and drops helped his eyes feel better he still could not see very well. So 9 o’clock on a Sunday morning we head off to an optometrist and 30 minutes later he has a pair of glasses and able to read. I learnt then that he has not been able to read for some time. I don’t know too many Aussie men of this age who would ask a foreign woman to help them. I love that he was comfortable enough to ask for help. #spreadlove #Kampot #Cambodia See more

13.01.2022 I’m not going to win any floral arrangement awards but I hope it makes a few of you smile even for a brief moment. With so much chaos and uncertainty in the world at the moment we must find reasons to be grateful and to smile each day. Today, is a ‘stop and smell the roses’ kind of day. #fromthegarden #rose #colour #ilovenature #gratitude #allthingspretty

06.01.2022 When the new girl turns 4 on her 2nd day. I am impressed with the cake Sister made considering she only found out the afternoon before and no time to shop. Phnom Voar Valley Education-Farming-Development #loveyourwork #PhnomVoar #Kep #Cambodia #makedowithwhatyouhave

02.01.2022 Beautiful Mt Mee Lookout. There are still many reasons to smile and be grateful. I am only out and about to collect my postal vote. Be good, be kind and be well. #stayhome #stayathome #Australia
